Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the JCU Men's Soccer Mentorship website and mobile app (together, the “Site”), owned and operated by 2004 Enterprises LLC. By creating an account or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
The Site is an independent project owned and operated by 2004 Enterprises LLC. It is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by John Carroll University.
Who can use the Site
The Site is intended for alumni and current student-athletes. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with John Carroll University.
- Harass, threaten, demean, or send unsolicited commercial messages to other members.
- Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes another person's rights.
- Attempt to access another member's account or data without authorization.
- Use the Site for any purpose other than mentorship and networking.
Site administrators may review reported content and messages to enforce these Terms and may suspend or remove accounts that violate them.
Your content
You retain ownership of the profile information, photos, resumes, and messages you submit to the Site (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant the Site a limited license to store and display it to other members as necessary to operate the directory and messaging features described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it.
Messaging and forums
The Site facilitates one-to-one messaging between student-athletes and alumni, and group discussions in Atrium forums, to support mentorship conversations. Messages and posts are not a substitute for official John Carroll University communications and should not be used to share sensitive personal, financial, or medical information. Posts in an Atrium group are visible to other members of that group.
Notifications
By using the Site, you may receive email notifications about account, message, and event activity. You can additionally opt in to text-message (SMS) or browser push notifications from your profile or notification settings, and can opt out of either at any time in the same place.
Job postings
Job postings on the Site may be submitted directly by members or imported from a link to a third-party job listing. 2004 Enterprises LLC does not verify the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any job posting and is not a party to any employment relationship that may result from one.
Account termination
You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if your account is no longer eligible (for example, following graduation). You can request deletion of your account by contacting the Site's System Administrator.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Advice or introductions made through the Site are informal and do not constitute an offer of employment, an endorsement, or professional advice from 2004 Enterprises LLC or any Site member. 2004 Enterprises LLC is not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by members or for the outcome of any interaction between members.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2004 Enterprises LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
